Wheat Ridge 2020 was founded with the idea that this is not only an economic development organization, but also a community development organization. In order to be successful, the community needs to be engaged.

What ideas or skills do you have to offer in building a vibrant and more sustainable community?

  • Would you like to invest in your home and improve the quality of homes on your block and in your neighborhood?
  • Do you know someone who is considering moving somewhere close to the mountains and close to Denver?
  • Would you like to improve your business or contribute to business growth in Wheat Ridge?
  • Would you like to learn about how planning is done and what your role can be as a citizen?
  • Are you a developer who sees potential for your ideas in Wheat Ridge?
  • Can you tell your neighbors about what is happening in your community?
  • Are you interested in being an ambassador for Wheat Ridge in your circle of influence?
WR2020 staff and committees would love to get your ideas and to get you involved in the mission of WR2020.

Currently, there are two basic levels of involvement in Wheat Ridge 2020. General Membership of WR2020 is available to anyone who supports the mission of WR2020. Simply fill out the form to become a General Member or contact the office. Secondly, WR2020 has 100 Voting Members each year and a certain portion of the 100 turn over each year to allow new people a chance to be voting members.  

Both General and Voting Members are eligible to participate in committees.
