First HIP Home at 4300 Gray St has been SOLD

Wheat Ridge 2020 is pleased to announce that the Home Investment Program Home at 4300 Gray St has been sold.  There were several interested buyers and we accepted an offer for our full asking price of $225,000. We closed on the property last week and the new owner has moved into the Randall Park neighborhood. Mark Hess of Distinctive Properties was our Realtor for the transaction.

Wadsworth Sub Area Plan continues to next level refinement, study and development

At the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 26th, several Wheat Ridge 2020 board members, members and friends testified at the public hearing on the Wadsworth Sub Area Plan.  Wheat Ridge 2020 supported the plan to go to its next phase of development. The Mayor broke a tie in a 4-4 vote of Council to outline the next steps for the plan. The plan will continue in its development. You can read a memo from the Mayor on this subject on the City of Wheat Ridge website.

Review the Wadsworth Sub Area Plan at the City of Wheat Ridge website.

HIP Loan program area expanded

The Home Investment Loan Program service area has been expanded. The board voted to expand the service area for the loan program beyond the current priority area of 32nd to 44th and Sheridan to Pierce. The new service area will encompass all homes between Sheridan and Wadsworth within the City of Wheat Ridge.

WR2020 remains committed to the priority area and felt that the housing stock just outside the existing priority area was very similar in age and needed updates. Read more about the Home Investment Loan Program on our website.
