All WR2020 Members and Friends are invited to participate in this meeting.  The purpose is to adopt Bylaw Amendments, present updates on the strategic plan and Wheat Ridge 2020 accomplishments, and to offer opportunities to support the effort.  Continental breakfast will be served.  Please RSVP via telephone or e-mail by July 9, 2007, to Shawne Cooper at 720-259-1030 or scooper@wheatridge2020.org. The meeting will take place at the Wheat Ridge Senior/ Community Center. The proposed bylaw revisions are available for review at the office or on our website at http://www.wheatridge2020.org/by-laws.php. 2007 Voting Members will be casting votes.

There's a new sign that will be going around town in the yards of our first round of Home Investment Program Loan Sites.

These signs proudly showcase Wheat Ridge 2020 as a partner in investing in the work the homeowners are doing to upgrade their properties. The attached brochure box contains fliers which tell neighbors what work the homeowners are doing as well as more information about the Home Investment Loan Program.

Look at the June 28 issue of the Wheat Ridge Transcript to read about one of the first couple's to close on a HIP loan. They are featured in the real estate section which is only available in the print edition.

The Wheat Ridge Police Department in collaboration with LiveWell Wheat Ridge (formerly Thriving Wheat Ridge) has developed a new program. They are taking the idea of Neighborhood Watch to the streets, pavements, green belts, trails, you get the idea. Come to an informational meeting conducted by staff from the Wheat Ridge Police Department and LiveWell Wheat Ridge.
